The sun is out and so are we!

The sun has got his hat on, and we are extremely excited here at Beyond Breakout! Not because it is the start of the school summer holidays, but because we are launching our new outdoor escape game - Magic Portal. If trying to find something that everyone will enjoy sends you into a cold sweat, then look no further, as Magic Portal is suitable from ages 10 to 100!

When we first saw Magic Portal, back in October 2019, we were blown away by it.  As we were a brand new business at that time, we obviously had to prioritise and open our physical rooms first. But now, a year and a half (and a pandemic) later, we are now ready to launch it, and we can’t wait to share it with you, as it is purely and simply - awesome!  We have drunk the coffee, planned the routes, drunk the coffee, checked the routes, had a Gin and triple checked everything. We are ready to let the game loose on Newtown!

Five reasons why should you come and play it

1. The game is played completely outdoors, which we know is more Covid safe, and being outdoors is great for everyone’s wellbeing.

2. You get to explore the NEWtown in a New way, we have planned the route around Newtown to incorporate Newtown’s heritage.

3. The route is approximately 3km, so everyone gets some exercise (wheelchair and pushchair friendly).

4. Magic Portal combines the best elements of classical treasure hunts, GPS-Geocaching, and live escape games with augmented reality technology into an outdoor team game. It appeals to all ages!

5. After the last year and a half, it is important to relax and have some FUN with those you love.
